School Hall

Our School hall is the centre our of school. It is where we share our collective worship, where we eat dinner together, where we do PE and where we do performances together.

Playground spaces

We are right in the centre of Halesowen which means we do not have an abundance of outside space.  However, we do make the best of what we do have.

We have a large playground which includes a sports Muga, a large gazebo, an adventure play area, story chair and exercise machines.

We also have a small playground with play equipment. There is a quiet area with some flower beds where children can plant.

Our early years children have their own outside area with a mud kitchen, play equipment and much more.

In the middle of school we have a small courtyard where children can sit and have some quiet reflection time.

Classrooms

We have 8 classrooms in school which are all larger than average. Every class is well equipped with everything the children need. We have computers with interactive screens ( C touch). All classrooms have excellent LED lighting and almost all have new flooring. Seats and tables are bespoke to the age of the children to ensure they are comfortable to work. Every classroom has a book corner filled with books form the Pie Corbett reading spine and more.

Intervention spaces

We have some small intervention spaces around school. These spaces are used to do small group work, reading or one to one work.

Immersion Room

This is probably the most exciting space in school . The immersion room is an interactive 3d space where projectors and sound immerse children in other spaces. They can fly into space, dive under the sea, visit other countries and more...

The Ark

The ark is our nurture space. Here we have a room set up in a homely way with a settee, dining table, sideboard and rug. This is a space where children who find school a challenge can have a soft start to the day and can withdraw to if they need a quieter place to learn. As well as the main room there is a breakout room ( the Dove room) where children can access sensory experiences or just a quite calm space. We also have small nurture space in our EYFS unit.
